The Force is Strong with Geena

I hope you know what you’re doing,” I said as I stared at myself in the mirror of Geena’s bedroom. The bronze metal plates on my bare chest were as cold as the chain attached to the heavy collar around my neck. I tried to arrange my loincloth so it covered more of my groin, but only managed to show even more leg. The tiny strings holding it up on my hips felt like a gentle breeze could pull them away, exposing me to the world.

“Sometimes I amaze even myself,” said Geena, raking her fingers through the hair on my chest. “We look great! You’re very handsome, you know.”

“I look like a Wookie in drag.”

“Well, Han’s best friend is a Wookie, so that’s perfect!” said Geena brightly. Geena, as usual, looked amazing. The white shirt she was wearing perfectly hugged itself to her chest, which pushed open her little black vest, framing her breasts like a fine work of art. Her pants were fitted, the belt angled to connect to a holster on one leg that jauntily carried a prop blaster. Geena looked cool.

And I looked… well, naked.

Geena laced her fingers through mine. “Come on, Mike. Let’s go. You’ll feel better once you see everyone else in costume.”

“Maybe,” I said doubtfully, wanting to believe her.
